ABOUT US
LBSS USES FCPS 24/7
FCPS 24-7 Learning is an online resource which teachers, students and parents are encouraged to use "to extend learning beyond the traditional school day and beyond school facilities."
Teachers at Lake Braddock have spent the fall semester attending optional workshops, academy courses, and other professional development activities to learn the basic skills needed to plan and create FCPS 24/7 Learning sites.
Some of the teachers have started using their sites to post basic course information including course syllabus and grading rules. Others are using them to post important homework assignments. The use of FCPS 24/7 is optional and the amount and type of information varies from teacher to teacher.
Students and their parents can access these sites at http://fcps.blackboard.com any time on any computer that has an internet connection.

PARENT VIEW
Parents now have the opportunity to create an FCPS 24/7 Learning account of their own. The parent's access into FCPS 24/7 Learning is called Parent View. The parent View account gives parents the opportunity to view their childrens' course information (that is, announcements, course syllabus and weekly assignments) online. Parent View accounts will also give parents access to other important features like weCare@schools. weCare@schools is the online system that allows parents to submit emergency care information for their children online.
Parent View Letter - describes the registration process.
Can't remember your Parent View password or having some other problem with your account - call FCPS 24/7 HELP desk at 1-866-434-8880.
