Vicki Emery has been the Media Coordinator at Lake Braddock since 1999. As Media Coordinator, she oversees the library program and also works with the technology team. Before coming to Lake Braddock, she was the librarian at Belle View Elementary School. She has previously been a classroom teacher at the elementary level.
Ms. Emery thoroughly enjoys working with the teachers and students at Lake Braddock. Promoting information literacy through the use of all media including print and electronic resources is her goal. “We want all of our students to leave Lake Braddock with the information literacy skills that will enable them to be lifelong independent learners.”
Ms. Emery is originally from the Midwest, but has lived in California and Japan. A long-time resident of Northern Virginia, she has two sons who have attended Lake Braddock. She enjoys reading, traveling, and walking. |
