I am thrilled to be a member of the Lake Braddock community. I am a Georgia native, Army retiree, and former high school Mathematics teacher. I earned my Ph.D. in Educational Policy Planning and Leadership from the College of William and Mary.

As subschool 5 principal and supervisor of the Science, JROTC, and Technical Education departments, I look forward to working collaboratively to strengthen and sustain our professional learning communities and promote learning to improve all students' achievement. I believe that education is essential to students' success. I believe that effective teaching is the key to student achievement. I believe that when teachers work collaboratively, they increase student achievement. I believe all students can learn, and as educators we have a responsibility to provide them with the best education possible.
