Bring Your Own Devices (BYOD)

Registration Procedures

During the week of January 7-11,2013, our TSSPECs, Scott Dreier and Gardner Howe, will be available to register devices during all lunches 10:00 am – 12:15 in the cafeteria. No appointment required.

Any personally-owned computing device that will be used within a FCPS facility must be registered and display the appropriate registration sticker.

Students must have a completed permission form signed by a parent in order to register their devices. Permission forms are available on the LBSS Website and in the LBSS Student Information site on Blackboard.

Registration takes approximately 5 minutes per device. Student must sign up for appointments for registering devices before and after school and during Bruin Block on Wednesday. Sign-up sheets will be available in the window by the flag near the main office (the window with the flowers.) Sign up for registration appointments should be made not later than the day before the desired appointment

It is the student’s responsibility to arrive on time for their appointed time and to have the completed signed permission form and device with them. If they do not, they will have to sign up at a different time.

Students should never be dismissed from class to register their device.

During the week of October 1-5, our TSSPECs, Scott Dreier and Gardner Howe, will be available to register devices at the following times and locations:

• 6:30 – 7:15am – L149 (in main office) Appointment required.
• All lunches 10:00 am – 12:15 in cafeteria. No appointment required.
• Bruin Block: Wednesdays, L149. Appointment required. Students must have a pass from their teacher
• 2:15 – 2:45 in L149 (Main Office) Appointment required.

After October 5th, the TSSPECs will be available during Bruin Block on Wednesdays ONLY. Students must still have their forms signed to make an appointment in order to register their devices.
