Poetry Coffeehouse

When the guests arrived at the coffeehouse, they signed the guestbook.
Students received a copy of the class poetry anthology.
One student really got into the poetry coffeehouse mood by dressing in all black and donning a beret.	The teachers also got in the act with the proper attire.
Students sat on stools at each table and shared the poetry they had created. Families were excited to hear all of the poems.



Several poets read their works in the story pit of the library.
The hot chocolate station was popular with young poets and their guests. The cookies were also a hit.
