The little brown bat lives all through North America. They live in caves, buildings and in cracks. They hibernate from September to mid May. Their enemies are owls, bobcats, house cats and hawks. If a little brown bat crashes in water it can swim.

Little brown bats eat Mayflies and mosquitoes. Little brown bats use echo location to find their food. They can eat 150 mosquitoes in 15 minutes. It can eat half of its own weight.

They can live 24 to 30 years.

Little brown bat's fur color is yellow to almost black. Little brown bat`s wingspan is 10 inches long and they are about 3 inches tall.
