Black Bears

Black bears live mostly in eastern forests, swamps, western forests and wooded mountains. They eat vegetables, fruit, breads, and meat. Humans are their worst enemy. They are 4-6 feet long and weigh 200-425 lbs. Not all black bears are black. They can also be cinnamon or blonde. They live up to 25 years. Males are called boars and females are called sows-just like pigs. They have 1-5 cubs a year.
