Egg The Painted Lady female lays its eggs on
the plant it eats. The eggs are the size of a pin head. When
the butterfly lays its egg it's a pale green . The caterpillar eats non-stop 5-10 days.
The caterpillar molts 5-6 times during the larval stage.
When the caterpillar has grown full size it starts to

turns into liquid and reforms into a beautiful butterfly.

When the adult butterfly comes out of its pupa it hangs
itself upside down and pumps blood into its wings inflating
