Praying Mantis

The Praying Mantis is very common and found in meadows, gardens, and clearings. They can also fly. Most Praying Mantis are found in tropical rainforests. Many need to be kept warm as a general rule of thumb at 20 degrees to 25 degrees celcius. The eggs are produced in an egg case called an ootheca. Females may produce 30 to 300 young each cycle.
