The Chicago Bulls joined the NBA for the 1966-67 seasons. They were bad for a long time until they got Michael Jordan.

After 13 years in the NBA, Michael Jordan announced his retirement. On January 13,1999, Tim Floyd was named the team's head coach. Coach Floyd was the head coach at Iowa State.

The Bulls won six championships....That's a lot!


The Stadium

 

The Bulls Stadium opened in 1994. It is called the United Center. It holds 21,711 people.

 


Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan went to University of North Carolina. When he was in high school, he was cut from the basketball team. Can you believe it ? He joined the Bulls in the mid 1980's and is best known for his slam dunks. He won the league scoring title seven straight years.
