The Voyage

 

On October 12,1492,land was seen by a sailor named Rodrigo Bernajo,not Columbus! They landed on a small island in the Bahamas & named it San Salvador.

Columbus never found the new route to Asia. Instead, he found the new world, America.

He also found Native Americans, whom he called "Indians" because he thought he was in India.
