Tyrannosaurus Rex

Tyrannosaurus Rex means "Tyrant Lizard King." It was the largest known meat-eating dinosaur ever on Earth. He liked to eat large plant eating dinosaurs like Triceratops. T-Rex was 40 feet long and 15-20 feet tall. He weighed 5-7 tons. He walked on his back two legs and he had short arms. His legs had 3 toes with claws and his arms had 2 clawed fingers. T-Rex's teeth were pointed like an ice cream cone. They were used to rip the food. Tyrannosaurus Rex bones have been found in the forests in North America and in China. He lived in the Cretaceous Period.
