Sperm whale

Sperm whales live in mild tropical waters.

They eat mostly squid but also eat codfish, skate, barracuda , shark, octopus,rock fish, angler fish, lumpsucker, brown ragfish, cusk eel, roughfish, groper,king-fish and eels. The Sperm whales enemies are humans, killerwhales and sharks. Sperm whales can live up to 77 years.

They have a big squarish heads, long body, small eyes, a grayish color skin, and rough skin.

Sperm whales can dive up to a 10,000 feet or more!

When a Sperm whale is born, it is thirteen feet long. That is six feet longer than a full grown human! Although it is a toothed whale, it actually has most of its teeth on its lower jaw, but the Sperm whales do have teeth in the upper jaw However, you can't even see them! The Sperm whale has one blowhole that gives it a bushy blow. Scientists estimate there are about 1,900,000 Sperm Whales in the world! They sound like "click, click, click."
