Seahorse

The common seahorse lives in the Mediterranean Sea and warm areas in the Atlantic. Seahorses eat tiny shrimp and other small crustaceans. Seahorse enemies are people, crabs, tuna, skates, rays, storms and population. A seahorse's appearance is a horse-shaped head and a body and a tail which is covered with concentric body rings. Seahorses seldom live more than three years. The female seahorse deposits 100 or more eggs into the pouch on the male's abdomen.
