Robin

The American Robin is ten inches long. It has an orange red breast, white eye rings, black head and gray back. The males are brighter than females. They are found in North America from Canada to Guatemala. They live in cities, suburbs and forests. They eat earthworms, insects, berries and even small snakes. Humans and other birds can eat the American Robin. Humans used to hunt them for food. The robin lays 3 to 4 light blue eggs. They hatch in 12 days.
