 Kings Park has exceeded Virginia Standards of Learning benchmarks for accreditation each year since the testing program’s inception. Our school was one of only 2% of Virginia public schools to pass in 1998, the first year of the SOL tests.
A model Success by Eight school, Kings Park promotes student success as readers, writers, and mathematicians by age eight. Quality educational practices based on current research, strong family-school connections, and clear standards are hallmarks of Success by Eight schools.
Selected as a Professional Development School for George Mason University, Kings Park staff serve as clinical faculty members and train graduate interns in early childhood methods and curriculum.
Kings Park staff are recognized by the community at-large for their excellence and their commitment to children. Our teachers:
