General information

Kings Park teachers have identified the basic list above so that parents may take advantage of summer sales. Individual teachers may require some additional supplies based upon their programs when school begins. Please note that in many classrooms, writing and art supplies may be collected and housed in central locations for group use. Midyear teachers may need to request replacement of consumables like pencils, crayons, and glue sticks.

Shoes for PE, recess

When shopping for school shoes, remember that students will be expected to wear tennis, gym or running shoes during PE and outdoors. Platform and heeled sneakers, slip-ons, mules, and boots are not permitted for adequate mobility and safety during active play. Children will be allowed to change shoes for PE and playground activities if necessary.
