Kings'
Voices The Kings' Voices is an after
school program that offers sixth grade students the
opportunity to exercise their ability to perform by
singing, acting, and dancing on stage. In order to
participate, students must audition with a sponsor
selected song. Then some are invited to stay and
try a few dance steps. From there the final group
is chosen - just like in the real performance
world! Those students who attend will learn how to
bring a song to life by trainng to be a "triple
threat" (adding dance and theatrics to music that
you sing). Those students who attend the workshop
will be able to rehearse for a Spring Production
that will show everyone just how talented they are!
Songs for the show include music from The Lion
King and Big River as well as other
musicals and show choir
pieces. |
