Corsac Fox

The Corsac fox is usually shy, but the Corsac fox is closely related to the Arctic fox. The Corsac fox lives in the treeless plains, or steppes, of central Asia. The Corsac fox, sometimes called the steppe fox, is found mainly in the Soviet Union. The Corsac fox hunts for jack rabbits, mice, and other small animals. The Corsac can jump and climb easily. The mating season is in January and February. The gestation period is fifty to sixty days, and litters range from two to eleven pups.
