Kings' Creators

Kings' Creators is an after school program that offers artistic hands the opportunity to work to expand, explore, and experiment their creativity with hands on projects. The program runs in five three week sessions from 3:00 to 5:00 every Wednesday. Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis with only twelve students in a session. The students do original art work around the school like wall murals in the corridors, tile work in the art room, and special touches in the courtyard.

Kings' Creators worked on scenery for the student production of Knights of the Rad Table.

Students in this session of Kings' Creators designed and created a tile mosaic backsplash for the counter top in the art room. these photos show our artists breaking up tile, selecting colored pieces, placing them on the adhesive covered wall, and a portion of the finished product. They did a fine job.

The creators in the surrounding pictures are busy working on a quilt that will be donated to a local shelter. They are stitching the pieces, ironing them so they are flat, and sewing them together.
