This is Mr. K's
fifth year at KGES. Prior to coming here, he spent
seven years teaching sixth grade. He is the
coordinator for the Bruin Buddies Program, the
Student Hosts Club and the Peer Coaching Program.
Mr. Cookson and Mr. K run the popular All-Stars
After School Program. Mr. K is also the sponsor of
the school's Character Education Club. He is a
member of the Lake Braddock Pyramid Character
Education Steering Committee, the Kings Glen
Leadership Team, and is the 504 Plan coordinator.
Outside Kings Glen, he serves on the county's
Fatherhood Initiative Panel, and an Advisory Board
for the Ethics Resource Center. In addition, he
coaches two Lake Braddock High School teams and a
travel soccer team.
