| At Kings Glen, we encourage and celebrate a strong partnership with parents. Family socials and curriculum nights, student performances, and joining children for lunch help you meet classmates and neighbors. An active PTA provides many extras, including assemblies and field trips. To volunteer in the school or become involved in the PTA, contact your child’s teacher or the PTA for details.
You will receive the KP/KG News and calendar on the last Tuesday of each month to help you plan your busy schedules. We’ll provide you with customized information about your child’s classroom through our 24-7 Learning sites. For email notification of important announcements at home or at work, you are encouraged to subscribe to Keep In Touch.
See our Parent Liaison, Stephanie Coston, for your help in clarifying school procedures, practices, and programs. Or contact her for suggestions about how you can become involved in your child's education and your school community. Click Here for the School Volunteer Form.
See our School Counselor, Carol Miele, for parent / student support. Also, see the FCPS Parents Page for more information to help your child.

Add Money to Lunch Cards Online!
You can add money to your child's lunch card online by going to mylunchmoney.com by using a student identification number—which can be found on a report card—or, in the case of an employee, the employee number. Credit or debit card information is entered to add funds to the account. Throughout the school year, accounts can be managed and funds can be added electronically or via phone. A $1.95 fee is charged for each transaction. FCPS meals can still be purchased with cash or personal checks. Check the Familygram or the FCPS news release for more information about this program.
