Brooke Maxfield grew up in Northern Virginia and attended James Madison University. She taught at Poe Middle School in Annandale for one year before she came to Kilmer. During her time at Kilmer she has taught math for 7th grade – Aces and Explorers, and now for 8th grade – Trailblazers. Brooke spent this past summer traveling with People to People Student Ambassador Programs to Fiji, Australia, and New Zealand, teaching the PreIB institute at Marshall, finish up her graduate classes, and coaching the Marshall Dance team.
