Educational Philosophy
Teachers should challenge their students to analyze all sides of issues to form their own opinions and beliefs and when needed, be prepared to defend them. Encouragement, understanding, cooperation, respect, along with independent and critical thinking is fundamental for both the classroom and for a strong democracy. This course will strive to obtain these goals guided by the Virginia Standards of Learning.
