Ms. Sun was born in Tainan, Taiwan, Republic of China. she graduated from ChenChi University and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in History. She had leadership positions during all her school years from kindergarten to college. She played in band ion elementary school, was involved in girl scouts in junior high and played basketball and volleyball in high school and college. She also joined school choirs in grade school and the choirs for the History Department in college.
Right after college, Ms. Sun became a history teacher in a private school for three years in the city she was born. She then immigrated to America in 1984. She went to Old Dominion University and received a Master of Science in Education with a major in Counseling in 1988. She moved to the Northern Virginia area in 1990 after she got married and has been working at Kilmer since then. After school and on weekends, she enjoys reading, gardening, walking, singing, music, spending time with her family, going to movies, attending all kinds of performances including concerts, dances, musical Broadway shows, and etc. |
