Key Companions

Can you spare an hour to an hour and a half twice a month to befriend a student with special needs while assisting with their educational program?  Yes?  Then Key Center needs you!

Join the Key Companions program at Key Center assisting a student one to one andyou’ll receive a Key Companions t-shirt to wear on your days at Key Center.  You will also receive a photo of your companion with a description about their unique personality to proudly display.

Key Companions spend their time at Key Center assisting their assigned studentwith lunch, reading to their companion, working on a computer program together, or perhaps accompanying their companion on a community outing.   You choose the student you’d like to befriend, and the staff at Key Center will train you on that student's particular needs.  Key Companions was recently featured on the Red Apple network.
