About Us

     Welcome to Kaarun, Michael, Amna, and Kimoni from other classes.  We are still awaiting Joselyn's return to school.  Adam and Candace are glad to have these new friends in our classroom this year.  Our students stand, sit, are positioned in a variety of adaptive equipment, and use augmentative communication devices as they work on their IEP goals in our homeroom and many different classes.  They enjoy going to APE, Music / Sensory, LINK, Vocational Workshop, and Art. 
  Our Unit of Study this year is Career and Community Helpers.  Each month we focus on Careers and Community Helpers that are associated with that month and we will be making our own Career and Community Helpers Book.
   Welcome to Sarah and Eric.  They are very dedicated, and strong, hard workers!  This is Sarah's 8th year, Eric's 16th year and my 33rd year of working in Special Education with Fairfax County Public Schools.  We are excited about all the skills the students work on daily.  Thank-you for helping make this another fantastic school year!
