About Us    

Welcome to Room 340! 

We are an elementary class of six ranging in ages from 5 – 11.  During a typical school day, our students participate in a variety of hands on lessons to include areas of literacy, math and life skills.  Throughout all of these subject areas we put a great deal of emphasis on communication, and having the students participate as independently as possible.  Our students rotate through a variety of positioning equipment during the day to promote flexibility, strength and access to classroom materials.  We will also take part in different community based instruction opportunities to work on  our IEP goals in different settings.  Once a week we participate in ADL (activities of daily living).  This is an opportunity for our students to learn and practice life skills in a workshop type setting.  Jennifer, Clive and I are looking forward to a fun year!
