About Us

Welcome to Room 342!

Our classroom is an elementary class consisting of seven students.  We range in age from 5 to 8  and are all non-verbal.  Although we are non-verbal, we have little difficulty communicating our feelings!  We will work on a wide variety of activities this school year.  The activities will touch on all of our curricular areas such as literacy and math skills, independence skills, fine and gross motor skills, and communication skills. We use positioning equipment, sensory materials, and assistive technology devices to enhance our learning experiences and to focus on the student’s individual educational plans and needs.  We will use Weekly Reader and the Early Literacy Skill Builder reading program.  We will have a theme that will be incorporated into daily activities.  Every day brings new challenges and new reasons to celebrate.
