Room 342

About Us

   Room 342 is always busting with excitement and energy.  We are a group of seven children ranging in age from five to ten.  Currently, we have four girls and three boys.  The children in this room work on many life skills throughout the day.  Constant activity is always going on.  The students participate in communication, cognitive, sensory, gross motor, fine motor, and self-help activities on a daily basis.  Activities aim at improving and enhancing the students individual skills.  In addition to working on various activities, the students are always positioned in adapted equipment.  The students enjoy listening to a wide variety of music from show tunes to children's songs.  They enjoy computer time whether it is activating a cause and effect program or listening to a book on tape.  Augmentative communication methods and devices are in constant integration with all activities that occur in the classroom.
