About Us
Welcome to room 325! Our class is a part of the Behavior Transition Program where our goal is to use positive reinforcement and a structured environment to increase positive and functional behavior. This year we have five male students in our room with a tremendous amount of skill and ability. We look forward to further developing these skills by participating in academic lessons, vocational work, and community based trips.
We will use a variety of books and technology to integrate different curricular areas including, literacy, math, language arts, and life skills. During our community integration and vocational practice, our students are able to develop important independent living skills that are essential to live and interact with the community.
This year we are stressing the importance of communication! We will be using an assortment of communication devices so our non-verbal students are able to express their wants and needs. We will also be encouraging our students to use their words on a regular basis.
We are excited for a brand new year to continue our growth!
