About Us

   Our class is made up of six students (1 female and 5 males).  Our ages range from 5 to 9.  The six students are all elementary students who are all non-ambulatory students.  In our class we focus on color, shapes and size of different objects.  We will learn the alphabet and daily items that may start with that ABC letter or items associated with certain colors.  We have incorporated a lot of devices and computer activities that will help students understand and enjoy the daily lessons. The activities will touch on all of our curricular areas such as literacy and math skills, independence skills, fine and gross motor skills, and communication skills. We use positioning equipment, sensory materials, and assistive technology devices to enhance our learning experiences and to focus on the student’s individual educational plans and needs. 
   Each student has a unique personality and we laugh together throughout the day.  This should be a fun and exciting school year.
