Forestdale Elementary School

Fast Feet and Fancy Friends

This great new program has started up between the Physical Education Department at Forestdale Elementary School and students at Key Center School. Twice a week, elementary-aged students from Key Center go to Forestdale School and are integrated into a general education P.E. class there. The students from both schools intereact during routine physical education activities. The Forestdale Students help their Key Center peers participate to the fullest extent possible. The Forestdale students are already showing an understanding of the disabilities that their new friends experience.
