FCPS English Proficiency Levels:
- LEP Level L: Beginning ESOL students with little or no previous schooling in their home country
- LEP Level 1: Beginning ESOL students with limited or no proficiency in English
- LEP Level 2: Intermediate ESOL students with some proficiency in English
- LEP Level 3/4: Advanced ESOL students who are fairly proficient in English
- LEP Monitor: Students who have met criteria to exit from ESOL but continue to improve their academic English. Their academic progress is monitored for 2 calendar years after exit.
