The District 11 Honors Orchestra performed Saturday, the 17th after a weekend of rehearsals. Four students from Irving particpated after being choosen from auditions in November. The honors orchestra represents some of the best student musicians from across our district. Congratulations to our very talented strings muscians.
AAP Parent Information Night - NEW TIME!!
Wednesday, January 28th at 6pm join our team of Advanced Academics teachers to learn more about the offerings here at Irving Middle School for the Level IV rising 7th grade students. This 1 hour evening is designed to give both students and parents the opportunity to learn about the choices available when deciding on a middle school.
Irving Student work featured in Local paper
The Springfield Connection newspaper printed 4 poems written by Irving students from Mr. Miles Liss' English in the annual children's edition published on December 31st. You can read these poems here at the Springfield Connection website on page 10 of the paper. The poems are titled "Dreams," "The Gift," "Life," and "EKDX5." Congratulations to these talented student writers.
