Technology

The technology at Hunters Woods is integrated throughout the school and curriculum.  There is a 32 computer lab equipped with a SmartBoard and video production equipment.  Each classroom has three high-end computers plus each teacher and faculty member has a wireless laptop.  The school is wireless, allowing Internet access throughout the building and outside learning areas.  Additionally we have over 50 wireless laptops organized in mobile labs.  Currently there are 10 interactive whiteboards with projectors and one expression cart which allows multimedia to travel from class to class.  Our most recent addition is a Distance Learning Center where students and teachers interact with students, teachers, educational and other professional experts from around the country and the world.  Each grade level team and department has multiple digital cameras.  Teachers regularly share their success with peers as our learning community incorporates innovations in their curriculum planning.
