Science Department

Hunters Woods is a Magnet school for the arts and sciences.  Every student has the opportunity during their specials block to attend a science class.  This class is not the FCPS program of study, the classroom teachers continue to instruct this curriculum.  These classes are enriched curriculum designed to instill a love of science in our boys and girls.  You can see students learning in our outdoor classrooms or visiting National Geographic as the culmination of the Jason Project.  The integration of the arts and sciences is showcased annually during our imagination celebration.  There are numerous activities in our program which will be updated regularly.  Here are a few snapshots.
