Our Langston Hughes Panther Cheerleaders traveled to Kings Dominion for Spirit Week-end Competition on Saturday April 25th.  The 8th graders brought home a 2nd place trophy and the 7th graders brought home a 5th place trophy.  We are all very proud of our Cheerleaders for thier hard work and dedication.

7th Graders Spend Day with Scientists

October 15, 2008 - Five hundred seventh graders in Reston, Virginia spent the day in a forest with scientists from the US Geological Survey as part of Earth Science Week. They tested water quality, assessed biodiversity and even wrote poems about nature in a day designed to promote environmental awareness and interest in the sciences. Listen to the radio report below.
