Mission
Statement:
The Hughes Middle School Counseling Program facilitates academic, personal/social, and career development for all students. Counselors work with each student in developing an understanding of themselves, resolving conflict, and defining individual goals that reflect his or her interests, abilities, and aptitudes. Working as advocates and in partnership with each student’s support system, counselors ensure that all students are prepared with knowledge and skills to contribute to their full potential as lifelong learners and productive citizens in a diverse society.
