Panther Cheerleading
2009-2010
Thank you for your interest in joining the ’09-10 cheerleading squad. We would like to welcome back the cheerleaders who cheered with us last year and welcome all new students who are interested in participating in cheerleading this year. Last year was a highly successful year, winning a second place trophy and a fifth place trophy at the Kings Dominion Competition. This year we are setting our sites on first place.
Cheerleading is very active and requires a large time commitment. We emphasize respect, responsibility and team building. Since this is a team sport, each member is expected and needed to be at every practice.

Girls are will need to purchase Cheer Shoes approximately $50.00, body armor approximately $20.00(White shirt), and bloomers approximately $12.00(worn under the skirt).
This year we will be asking girls to purchase an additional warm- up out fit. The cost of this item will be approximately $ 30.00.
Volunteer Opportunities: They are many times parents can come and lend a hand. Fund raising and carpooling to the competition are great time to volunteer. There will be various opportunities through out the year, help is always welcome.
We look forward to working with you this upcoming school year. It is always exiting to begin a new cheer season! If you have any questions please feel free to contact us. During the school day students may come by Mrs. Oswalt’s classroom 128. (Just do not be late for class J).
