On March 24, 2006, over forty professionals from all walks of life visited Holmes Middle School for our annual Career Day Celebration . These dedicated people from the community and the metropolitan area responded to an open invitation to speak about their career choices. They were full of enthusiasm, making lasting impressions for career choices on their listeners. They truly inspired and motivated the students.
          Sixth grade teams visit the National Art Gallery. Students also visited the newly remodeled National Archives Building in Washington D.C.
