Dear Students and Parents:
Welcome to Holmes Middle School and a new school year. We are looking forward to another exciting and rewarding year of learning, sharing, and growing. We hope you will enjoy the numerous opportunities to achieve and succeed here at Holmes. We expect all students to perform well academically, participate in activities, and follow school rules.
Parents are our partners in providing the best education possible for our students. Parental involvement in some of the numerous committees, activities, and school functions is essential in making Holmes a quality school for your child. We look forward to working with you and to seeing you during one of our Back-to-School Nights:
Monday, September 12, 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. for the Sixth Grade
Tuesday, September 13, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. for the Seventh and Eighth Grades
For your convenience, and to ensure that you receive all important information, the opening of school student/parent packet with student schedules will be ready for pick-up in the main entrance at Holmes Middle School on:
Thursday, August 25 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
All remaining student packets will be mailed by close of business on Thursday, August 25.
In addition, if you ordered a 2011-2012 supply kit from the PTA, you can pick it up at this time as well. Supply kits may also be picked up on September 1st between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.
