Programs at Hollin Meadows

Library

Children reading
The Library features a variety of programs and activities. In addition to our wide selection of fiction and non-fiction books, our library also has numerous technology resources help students and families learn.

Art
Students at the National Gallery The art programs at Hollin Meadows enable students to explore a variety of media including drawing, painting, sculpting and mixed media. Students also have the opportunity to experience the arts through field trips and extra curricular activity. This sections features our online gallery of student art work.

Title I


Title 1 Title I is a set of programs set up by the United States Department of Education to distribute funding to schools and school districts with a high percentage of students from low-income families.

 

Science Lab
Students examine a chrysalis in science lab The science lab at Hollin Meadows enhances the regular science curriculum and takes a hands on approach to allowing students to explore deeper into their science studies.

Children's Garden

PE

Students playing sports The Physical Education program at Hollin Meadows ensures that students are educated in the fundamentals of physical activities, safety, sportsmanship and wellness strategies that relate to lifetime physical fitness skills and health habits.

Music

Students playing music The music program at Hollin Meadows provides students with a rich exposure to a variety of musical opportunities. Features of the program include two full time music teachers, string ensemble, chorus, band and opportunities to perform at school and community events.
