Mr. Pittman’s 5th Grade Class !
We are going to tell you about Math. Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, Our Garden, And our 1st field trip so far here in 5th Grade.
Math, So far in math, We have been learning about place value, Times Tables, Division, And a little bit of algebra.
Science, We have been learning about, Weather tools, Light, Space, and Land forms.
Language Arts, So far we have done, Writing Workshop, Learning to write in pen.
Social Studies, We are going to be learning about, Ancient Civilizations such as Mali, Greece, Rome and America, Aztecs.
Our Garden, Over the summer we have grown, Cucumbers, Squash, Lettuce and beets.
Our Field trip to Wolf Trap, This year we went to a concert at Wolf Trap Farm park. There we listened and watched, Hawaii songs and Dances from there culture, South Korea songs and dances from there culture, Turkish songs and dances from there culture, And Qatar songs and dances from there culture.
And that is our class summery for 2006-2007! See you around the school!!
