Book Your Summer Program

Book Your Summer is a fun way to get students to read over the summer, something that can improve academic success once the bell rings! Rising 1st through 12th grade students are encouraged to spend the summer reading using the READ! activity card as a guide. Check out more details at http://www.fcps.edu/is/book/ 

 

Fairfax County Public Library 2016 Summer Reading Challenge: June 23 - September 3


The Fairfax County Summer Reading Challenge encourages children and teens to read for pleasure during summer vacation. It is held in cooperation with Fairfax County Public Schools.

The Summer Reading Challenge runs from June 23 to September 3. Sign up begins on June 23.

Kids from birth to third grade read 15 books; children can have books read to them. Kids from fourth to sixth grades read 10 books. Students in grades 7-12 read six books. Using our reading lists is not required. 

Sign up and record your books online or get a reading log at your library.

Complete your reading and come in to your library branch by September 3 to receive a coupon book full of free and discounted prizes.
