NEWS January 22, 2009 - FAIRGRADE - FCPS School Board voted to adopt 10 point scale! The change will not go into effect until the Superintendent makes his recommendation. Good work, everyone! See the Fairgrade site for more details. January 15, 2009 - FAIRGRADE Petition – Parents can still sign the petition calling on the School Board to change the current grading policy. FAIRGRADE supporters are hoping to double the number of signatures on the on-line petition before the scheduled January 22nd vote by the School Board. FAIRGRADE representatives gave a very informational presentation at the January 14th PTSA meeting, including an update of the status of the grade change proposal.
