Virtual School Opening
In an effort to conserve paper and manpower, Herndon High School will open “virtually” this year.
For any 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade student to receive his/her schedule, the following forms must be returned on the schedule pick-up dates listed below. Please remember each form must be filled out for each individual child who is attending Herndon High School for the 2012-13 school year.
Schedule pick-up dates & times for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders only:
- August 27th - Library - 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- August 28th - Cafeteria - 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
- August 29th – Student Services Office – 8:00 am – 3:00pm
Any student who does not have his/her schedule by the first day of school may pick up his/her schedule from the Guidance Office (All required forms should be handed to the counselor). Students who have not returned their forms by the first day of school must return the required forms to their 3rd period teacher by September 7th.
Freshmen- will receive their schedules before Freshman Orientation at the schedule pick-up dates and times listed above. Freshman/New Student Orientation is the morning of August 30 from 9:00 - 11:00. Please refer to the Bus Transportation List for pick-up times.
In addition to the required forms listed above, you may complete the optional forms listed below depending on your choices for your student.
Opt-Out Booklet Please note that parents who wish to opt-out students should complete the appropriate forms and return them to their child’s 3rd period teacher or on schedule pick–up day with Health and Emergency Care forms.
