Herndon High School is located at 700 Bennett Street, Herndon,VA 20170 in the northwestern part of Fairfax County, Virginia, approximately 30 miles west of Washington, D.C.

(Non-toll)   From I-495 Capital Beltway take Route 7 west (Tyson Corner). Go 12 miles until you see a Shell gas station on the left at the corner of Route 7 and Dranesville Road. Turn left on Dranesville Road. Travel on Dranesville Road until you see a cemetery on your right. Turn left on Bennett Street. School is immediately on your left.

($1.25 toll, but faster)   From I-495 Capital Beltway take the Dulles Toll Road west to Herndon. Take the Fairfax County Parkway, North (Route 7100). Turn left onto Wiehle Avenue. Turn left onto Dranesville Road. Turn left onto Bennett Street. The school is immediately on your left.
