  • Office of Naval Research Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program Summer Opportunities for High School Students - Apply for an 8-week summer research program at Dept of Navy Laboratories.   • Liberty's Promise - 8-10 week part-time paid internships and 30-hour civic education instruction for students 15-21 years of age, who are immigrants or children of immigrants (both parents must be immigrants) from low- to moderate-income households. Verification documents required. Applications available in the Career Center.
  • Emma L. Bowen Foundation for Minority Interests in Media Internships Paid summer internships in television, radio, and cable for minority (Black/African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian/Pacific zislander, Native American/Alaskan Native) high school juniors and seniors who have a 3.0 GPA, plan to attend a 4-year college and have an interest in media. Apprenticeship is a time honored program combining On-the-job training with related instruction to qualify for a license or certificate of completion in a specific occupation.
