Jonathan Frohm, Director of Student Activities

Jonathan Frohm is a 1989 graduate of Herndon High School who will begin his 18th year in Fairfax County Public Schools.  He received his undergraduate degree in English from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University while also playing baseball for the Hokies.  Mr. Frohm earned his Master’s in Educational Leadership from George Mason University.  He has 13 years of classroom experience, teaching  9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade English.  Mr. Frohm also has 13 years of coaching experience, coaching freshman and j.v. football, j.v. baseball and finally served as the varsity baseball coach at Centreville High School from 2004 – 2006. 

For the past four years he has been the Assistant Director of Student Activities at Herndon before taking over as the director this fall.  Mr. Frohm believes that the future holds something good for every student and recognizes that Herndon is a special place for students to develop their path to that promise.  He enjoys organizing and attending the events and athletic contests at Herndon and getting to know the students.
