The Herndon High Library welcomes
students, faculty, and staff to utilize the wealth of information
we provide which will enable them to become lifelong learners
and intelligent users of information. It is our purpose
to provide print resources such as books, encyclopedias,
atlases, dictionaries, magazines and newspapers, as well
as online resources, such as databases which cover a large
variety of topics and web sites which are directly connected
to their research. One of our specific goals is to
provide a multicultural collection which
will provide every student with the resources that will
enable them to be successful and knowledgeable in their
pursuit to become an independent contributing member of
society.
Public Library Databases
Looking for something that our HHS databases just don't have? The public library has other databases, including Ebsco Host and ProQuest Historical Newspapers. If you don't have your own public library card yet you can access these resources with the Herndon High School Public Library Card code. Go to the Media Center Course in Blackboard and look for the NEW Public Library tab. There you will find the access code to use the public library databases. You can also get your own public library card and access the databases with that number.
